Dear Parents and other visitors to this page of our school website,

We have been in our new school building for well over 18 months!  Throughout the building process we included pictures in our web gallery to keep you appraised of the progress that was being made.  Photographs of the new school in action are now available for viewing via the first web link in our Links page and there is also a School Photographs page under Information/Publications tab.

In 2008 we arranged three "Open Day Sessions" for parents, former pupils and staff, and for people from our local community to come along and see our new school and all its modern facilities; we were overwhelmed by the response - over 300 visitors.  Prior to this, just before the 2008 summer break, our teaching and auxiliary staff took the pupils over to their new classrooms to show them around the building and to familiarise them with their new school. This undoubtedly made the transition process so successful when we moved in at the start of the new school year in August 2008.

Parents will no doubt recollect how sad a day it was when our former school swimming pool closed to enable the new building work to commence but this has proved to be so worthwhile as we now have such a spectacular new swimming pool (see below) and hydro therapy pool which we use on a daily basis to the greatest effect and benefit of our pupils.
